00:00:00: It's a new dawn, it's a New Day.
00:00:03: A new life for me
00:00:07: and I'm
00:00:07: feeling
00:00:10: okay-ish.
00:00:11: Welcome back to a new episode of sweet but salty the bliss point of podcasts.
00:00:18: When you hear this i have officially reached The last day Of my employment contract.
00:00:25: So...I am feeling weird about that But at the same time, it's kind of a liberating feeling.
00:00:31: I can't really explain it and i just want to say that im very tired And...I'm not really feeling myself but..i've talked about this couple times That its important to show up anyway To do what you set out to do anyway because yeah It is part-of life that sometimes You don't necessarily feel good or amazingly confident.
00:00:59: So I think in this episode, i'm just gonna give you a couple of life updates.
00:01:05: Let's start with something that isn't so good.
00:01:08: My mom actually had an accident In the garden.
00:01:11: A huge stone pillar Basically hit her on the face and now she has a black eye And... She was SO lucky!
00:01:21: This sounds counterintuitive but like given That thing is weighing tons or what feels like it, and hit her in the face.
00:01:32: She could have had a much worse injury but she was really lucky that everything stayed intact basically.
00:01:43: so be careful out there And remember that There's potential for accidents In the home environment.
00:01:52: So definitely when you're working on something in the garden, or in the house.
00:01:58: Or in the apartment.
00:01:59: just be careful and as I've mentioned before my last days of vacation are approaching so it feels strange to know that you're changing tracks if you will.
00:02:11: i don't know what the future holds job-wise for me but...I know!
00:02:16: I'm going to find the perfect job pretty soon maybe for a change?
00:02:21: A little health update from me.
00:02:23: I'm actually not feeling very good.
00:02:25: Um, i am sort of struggling with fatigue and also being out of breath really quickly And I feel very weak like my pulse is very high but heart rate is really low.
00:02:42: so it's a very weird feeling at the moment and I know i'm not at one hundred percent energy-wise.
00:02:51: I mean, I haven't been in a really long time and that's definitely something that comes with an autoimmune disease...I have Hashimoto's.. I haven' t talked about this before but since age of fifteen when it was diagnosed then personally think so I think it started when i was twelve, that my thyroid values were kind of off for the first time but the doctor didn't really check up on it afterwards.
00:03:21: So...I think I could have been taller if it had been treated earlier!
00:03:27: I could've omitted a very negative depressive episode when I was about fourteen and it could have just literally given me a different life quality if I had discovered this earlier and, If It Had Been Treated.
00:03:46: differently.
00:03:47: I'm now trying to manage my symptoms not just with medication but also with diet, i've been gluten-free for six years in the past and it didn't really make a difference because glutinous said to impact Hashimoto's greatly because of the thyroid hormone are pretty similar in their structure, so it's said that the body kind of mistakes.
00:04:19: The gluten particles for thyroid tissue or the other way around and kind of attacks it?
00:04:25: And yeah I don't know... It's just awful!
00:04:28: So if you're living with an autoimmune disease- You basically know that your probably always up to something.
00:04:36: Part of my immune system is always alert and it's always working.
00:04:42: And if you have an autoimmune disease, know the feeling that You basically can never truly relax and wind down because you're always struggling in your body.
00:04:53: It's always worked.
00:04:55: I haven't felt Super energetic in years and even decades, so I know what that feels like And i feel with you.
00:05:03: And I know that people who don't have autoimmune diseases usually Don't understand this but it's a real thing Like fatigue In autoimmune disease is So common unfortunately.
00:05:18: Yeah, so you're probably not lazy.
00:05:20: You're just tired.
00:05:22: and here is a fun fact.
00:05:23: I'm recording this episode laying down So...I'm definitely fitting the topic And yeah..so maybe one last little tangent?
00:05:32: I have finally started working on A Big Big New series of drawings, which I'm so excited for and about.
00:05:43: It's going to be about women in myths & legends and ancient stories.
00:05:49: So i'm very excited And...I am looking forward to working on this!
00:05:55: And..i have actually started doing that but I'm noticing that it's so hard to work on the format.
00:06:02: i've decided to work, because its huge.
00:06:05: It is an A-one format which means roughly sixty centimeters by eighty four centimeters.
00:06:14: So thats huge!
00:06:16: Its almost like one meter tall.
00:06:20: Yeah, but I'll be working on that.
00:06:21: I don't know how long it's gonna take me...I have worked on a smaller drawing That took me fifty hours so this could easily take one hundred But i'm up for the challenge!
00:06:33: I am very motivated and yeah Let's see where this goes?
00:06:38: And definitely going to document It..and keep you posted.
