00:00:00: Welcome back to new episode of Sweet But Salty, the bliss point of podcasts this time in English.

00:00:06: Not in Spanish anymore!

00:00:09: This has hardly ever happened.

00:00:11: but I almost forgot to record this episode...I can't believe it.

00:00:16: and The weirdest part about is that It's actually a very special Episode for me And i almost forgot To record it.

00:00:21: well Let's not dwell on That let's not Dwell On the past five minutes.

00:00:29: but um let's dive in and i'm gonna tell you all about my new song queen of hearts which is out everywhere now.

00:00:37: as you may or may not have heard in my past episodes, I released my first song three months ago.

00:00:45: I have a couple of songs in my pocket!

00:00:49: Now I've released the next one which is called Queen Of Hearts And My First Song Is Called Too Late the one that came out three months ago.

00:00:59: And it was a heartbreak song and dealt with sort of... A heart break situation, let's put it that way!

00:01:07: This one is quite the opposite.

00:01:09: It's actually really positive song That gives you energy and that gives you hope.. ..and its called Queen Of Hearts because in that scenario I am the queen of hearts.

00:01:22: so i'm the queen who wins everyone's heart and who makes the rules of game, plays it well And that's basically the notion and the entire atmosphere of this song, which i was fortunate enough to shoot a cool video with a friend of mine who did a fantastic job.

00:01:45: We captured some really nice shots!

00:01:47: Yeah you can see it on youtube- I'm called Katerina Vila on YouTube and the song is called Queen Of Hearts as you know.

00:01:54: So in this episode I wanted to talk more about meaning quite a few episodes on love and dating.

00:02:05: And my experience with dating hasn't been so positive, probably because I tried online dating and i tried apps like Tinder which i don't recommend if you're a sensitive person!

00:02:20: Because it's...probably gonna wreck you.

00:02:23: at least that's what happened to me.

00:02:25: but it was definitely one of the reasons i chose to record queen of hearts and to bring it out to the world, and release it because...it's such a positive message!

00:02:38: And.. It just shows you can be sad in your position where you doubt your own worth But at the end you're totally worth it and you are the one who wins everyone's heart.

00:02:53: And now that I think about, i mean this song was written five years ago to be honest uh...and was released now.

00:02:59: so..I'm in a different headspace now-in a space where I don't think dating is about power.

00:03:06: It's really about vulnerability.

00:03:09: So it's not about winning someone's heart or winning the game even though that's a fun thing to imagine and To live but only for short amount of time because you realize that Only if your vulnerable an honest, You can make connections with people who are this same.

00:03:27: And in The end Dating Is About Finding Your Equal and finding Someone Who doesn't play games with you and you don't play them.

00:03:38: it's about vulnerability, honesty, loyalty... all of the beautiful things that you personally desire in your relationship should be reciprocated by another person.

00:03:50: so thats definitely something that is on my mind right now.

00:03:55: this episode isn't a lot about queen of hearts even though its more what I have learned about dating and that it's no power game, It is actually the opposite.

00:04:08: Who can get more vulnerable?

00:04:09: But i understand That its really hard to guard your heart in this Because you need to be vulnerable but at the same time You must see The other person for who they are And thats really really hard.

00:04:23: Its really hard To know if someone Is playing with or being honest With you.

00:04:31: I would say it's so important to listen to your intuition and trust yourself because you're intuition knows best.

00:04:42: You know if that person is a potential partner, all those things.

00:04:50: but we have as collective society lost the real connection with our inner voice and that's kind of sad to be honest, but it's definitely something that can't be regained because we're so wired.

00:05:07: To...be intuitive beings?

00:05:09: I'm so convinced of that!

00:05:12: That..it's possible for us to regain that connection when we feel like we've lost it.

00:05:18: It's probably never gone- it's just overshadowed by the things that we think We must do or The responsibilities that we have in our lives, or the ways that we've learned to protect ourselves.

00:05:32: So I would say Queen of Hearts To Me is a beautiful chapter in my life where I felt like i was on top of everything and, of course you know art and music are not always one hundred percent real so to say.

00:05:49: You create things that have little element of fiction in them!

00:05:53: And this song does as well...and it's definitely NOT a negative thing because music gives you an opportunity to step into roles and experience different kinds of emotions.

00:06:07: And i'm really happy I wrote this song, and I brought it out and released it!

00:06:11: Because...I feel its-it's honest even though it's kind of fictitious which is very interesting.

00:06:19: so If you listen to it, I really hope you like it.
