00:00:00: Welcome back to Sweet But Salty, the bliss point of podcasts today with a very special episode.
00:00:06: I say this every single time.
00:00:07: it's not so special this time but i did some modifications on my microphone aka put up a pop shield thing which could have done years ago but somehow didn't.
00:00:21: and i feel like this is one of those episodes where I don't have a lot to tell you because I'm very tired.
00:00:28: And yesterday was a very special day, because I had a video shoot which was a lot of fun in what you'll see and hear about...in a bit?
00:00:40: But not today!
00:00:41: Today I want to focus on something else- Which I haven't figured out yet at my head so.. This is evolving with you in real time.
00:00:51: so i quickly want to just talk about one thing that's really unfortunately a vital part of my life which is fear.
00:01:00: and for all those who struggle with an anxiety disorder or with anxiety, I totally get it!
00:01:13: it's not a good feeling at all.
00:01:15: so this week was quite intense when i came to that and um, I just noticed sometimes very normal things other people wouldn't really care about cause a lot of anxiety in me.
00:01:29: I'm trying to remind myself of this one thing that i heard someone say once, which is it doesn't make sense to be afraid before the thing.
00:01:38: You're wasting so much energy and you're wasting So much thought and feeling in everything That...you can spare yourself so much Energy And It makes sense To Be a little scared maybe right Before it happens, and then you go.
00:01:55: And when you're in it usually you feel relieved or don't really think about the fear anyway.
00:02:02: so at least that's a case for me.
00:02:04: What scares me are probably my thoughts around what is going to happen.
00:02:09: not too much of things itself.
00:02:11: It's really meaning we give us something that changes our feelings towards it.
00:02:18: so i'm just taking this as an opportunity for myself to train not being so scared anymore because it doesn't make sense like you're scared of something in the future which doesn't really affect you, because in your mind its a lot bigger and it's a lot more pronounced..and...it's alot more alive than it is in real life if u know what I mean?
00:02:45: Usually our fears don't even come true, and we waste so much time on them.
00:02:51: So it doesn't make sense to do that.
00:02:53: It doesn't makes sense away so much Time and energy And above all...it doesn't Make sense to live in the future because That's what we do when We are scared and When were afraid..we picture a future.
00:03:05: that is The worst-case scenario and....It Doesn't make Sense To Live There.
00:03:10: What Makes sense Is to live right here Right now and to cherish every single moment.
00:03:18: And I know that it's one thing to understand those things consciously, and another thing to have your subconscious do what you know is right.
00:03:30: so i definitely empathize with all of you who as i said struggle with anxiety because...i know its not rational but..I also believe we're meant for more.
00:03:43: the things we're most afraid of, or the things that we struggle with most often keep us from our biggest potential.
00:03:51: And I think people who have struggled with anxiety are meant to be voices in this world and lights in these worlds which can really help other people...and do so through being courageous!
00:04:07: and sharing their stories boldly.
00:04:10: so i definitely want to encourage you step out of your comfort zone, step out off your fear zone.
00:04:17: it's gonna be worth a lot.
00:04:20: So yeah I think this was a very mixed episode!
00:04:24: I talked about...a really important topic in my life..I don't wanna make it more important than it is but I do wanna stress that courage & love are the antidote for fear.
