00:00:00: With a little bit of delay, I welcome you sincerely to the new podcast episode.

00:00:07: That was not my intro... I welcome YOU TO A NEW EPISODE OF SWEET BUTT SALTY THE BLISS POINT OF POTCASS!

00:00:17: It took me a LITTLE BIT LONGER to produce this episode because i was very busy yesterday and that's what this episode is all about.

00:00:28: as you can tell by the title, yesterday my very first art exhibition solo art exhibition took place and i am so happy and tired.

00:00:43: he had just overall excited for everything because it was a really lovely experience!

00:00:50: I want to thank everyone who came around and who was part of it... Moving to see so many people come in whom I've met throughout my life.

00:01:02: So there were a lot of people, obviously... no friends and family members, it was just wonderful to have so many people view my art.

00:01:14: And get so much positive feedback on it!

00:01:18: So how did the exhibition look?

00:01:20: Obviously in this podcast I can only describe it.

00:01:23: i cant show you pictures but if u wanna see more u can go to my instagram itsworldafila.

00:01:29: Yeah, so I showed nine pieces that were all individuals.

00:01:35: And the funny thing about the title of my exhibition which is UNI-CATE or Unicata Is actually there's a double meaning behind it.

00:01:44: So first meaning is The one you are probably reading like UNI CATE Which has little word play with my name and uni.

00:01:56: it reminds me of the time i went to uni and where most of the pieces were actually created.

00:02:02: so I didn't create them at uni, they were created during that time.

00:02:08: And I studied quite a lot so it was a fitting title!

00:02:12: The second meaning is the german word onikata which stands for individual pieces.

00:02:21: why I called the exhibition The Way I Called It and it showed very different pieces that all went together really well, i'd say.

00:02:29: I had a watercolor collage in seven drawings And...the way that i view art & make art is alot about craftsmanship.

00:02:40: Its alot being very detail oriented and creating intricate pieces That take a lot of time.

00:02:48: The main piece is from my new series.

00:02:51: that's about women in fairy tales and myths.

00:02:55: And it was really the piece that attracted the most attention, I would say because It was the biggest but also the most complex one with a lot of details and hundred hours of work That went into it and into creating it.

00:03:11: so i was very happy to see that so many people liked it and because it was the newest piece, that I had finished about two weeks ago.

00:03:22: So it was very fresh!

00:03:23: It was just great to see That I'm on the right path doing that And also putting women into focus of the art.

00:03:33: The other pieces were all-so very dear to my heart.

00:03:36: Some of them were created as early as but also i had my icon series where I portrayed icons from pop culture like david bowie, prince or john lennon and...i'm so happy to see that so many people liked the pieces at my work.

00:03:56: sometimes i feel like realism doesn't have a place in art anymore because what you see is so abstract and colorful process of drawing a lot of details and drawing in the first place as a medium isn't really seen as art or Isn't as popular As other mediums.

00:04:20: reforms of art, but I think And that is The final word so to say to close this episode.

00:04:27: It's really just Focus on what your heart wants and focus on the things that flow out of you.

00:04:33: naturally because You have certain ideas for a reason.

00:04:36: And even though this zeitgeist is a little different Let's put it that way doesn't mean that you Have to go with it, you know sometimes you're ahead of your time?

00:04:47: That's totally fine.

00:04:50: I think It's important to listen to your heart in your intuition and your creativity and god's voice that wants to guide you in the right direction.

00:04:58: So yeah, I would just say focus on yourself And that goes with everything in life.

00:05:04: You know it doesn't have to be limited to art.

00:05:07: It's really.

00:05:08: if you feel like something is right for you then Just do it!

00:05:12: Go for it.

00:05:14: Of course you shouldn't harm other people but i'm saying If your wish or a dream in your heart & mind Then you should definitely do everything to accomplish it.

00:05:24: this was a first step in my career as an artist and i'm very happy about that.

00:05:29: I am so excited for everything that's about to come, thank you so much for tuning-in!
